Those working in the creative industries utilise business tools and business thinking all the time. We can’t strictly apply business principles to the arts given the highly subjective and contextual nature of the industry. But there are tools and ways of thinking that can be useful and adaptable.
The Australia Council Signature Works Innovation Lab focuses on “exploring new First Nations story ideas” and is part of a longer process of preparing ideas ‘at scale’ that will be pitched for development opportunities later in the year.
