Just quickly reflecting on conference presentations, particularly ones that describe institutional programs.

Presentations are strongest where the presenters are able to not simply describe their programs, but are able to look at a different level (almost take a helicopter view) and say

“this is what we do; how we got it started; challenges etc,  and ideas for how you [in a different country] might also do it / apply our approach”.

At an international conference you need to provide a helicopter view of your program and describe it, using “global” language. This makes it less likely that you’re not going to be simply describing your program, but also provide a bit of a analysis and opportunities for application beyond your borders.
